Work
About
I’m a tall, often injured (Ask me about starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at my age.) creative leader living in Toronto with two kids, a beautiful wife, a dog, and an old unbreakable habit of listening to music way too loud. I’m also hearing impaired and refuse to believe those things are related. I’ve spent my career building stronger teams, creating better conditions for talent to thrive, and helping brands find a clearer point of view on where they’re going and how they show up in the world.
My work has been recognized nationally and internationally throughout my career, with multiple Agency of the Year honours, back-to-back Grand Effies, and consistent recognition as one of Canada’s top-performing creative leaders. The real value of winning isn’t the trophies—it’s how strong and united a team becomes in pursuit of them.
I’m currently Partner and Chief Creative Officer at lg2, Canada’s largest independent agency, where I help lead a connected national creative vision across three offices. We are currently the 3rd most awarded creative agency behind Rethink and Courage (ever heard of them?).
Before lg2, I was Chief Creative Officer at McCann Canada, helping transform one of the country’s most established agencies into one of its most creatively competitive. During that time, McCann won its first Cannes Lions in decades, moved from 34th into the top 10 on the Creative Report Card, and helped earn Network of the Year honours at Cannes.
I love what I do.
Awards & Stuff
I have judged and won Clios, Webby's, Shorty's, Effie's, NYF, Marketing Awards (Co-Chair), Applied Arts, Comm Arts, Canadian Marketing Awards (Sr Judge), Digital Marketing Awards, ADCC's, and ADC's. I have won but never judged Cannes, D&AD, One Show, LIA's, Andy's, Shots and probably a few I'm missing. I have judged but never won an LBB Immortal Award. (Hangs head in shame.)
I have held Regional, National and Global Creative Leadership roles.
